Overview of enclosure designs

An infinite baffle car audio speaker enclosure is made large enough respect for the air in the cabinet are higher than mechanical suspension woofer own membership. Ok, I'm on a holiday to see here, so I might as well not to stop. I was just going with the CDT Boner going here and get some CDT components where eBay started calling my name. I finally take this component out of eBay in good condition, $ 140 shipped. I had to wait a while to get this installed for lack of wiring accessories. When I finally got the install, I thought, "Holy ****.... these sounds terrible." Well, I spent all day wiring the place and I finished around 8:30 or so at night, which contributed to the disaster, the lines of the mine. Me being lazy SOB, I decided it would be allowed to simply extend the wiring of shares. So I went ahead and extended the white and gray son and unfortunately after testing, I finally found where I went wrong. My HU has really said to tell you the truth, with an average cracking sound and smoke.
Therefore, in the dark, I accidentally had spread the son of the HU instead of the speakers, the worst mistake I've done wiring ... but who needs an amplifier in your inner HU anyway?
So, after the time to install properly, and mess with the crossover, I really got to listen to them. **** I must say that sound good. My image is an entire piece of shit, thanks to the tweeter mounting disgusting, but they are things that still sounds good. Midbass might be a bit 'better, but I'm not really complaining. I've seen some crazy offers on eBay up down like the JL XR component ready to go. If you can find some of these for a decent price, by all means go! I would not recommend to pay the price $ 380 * cough * * cough * Ovation some local merchants may have if you do not really want to ensure that the 'above

Re 15" Xxx Subwoofer
im making this survey to RE 15 "xxx. it's not mine, but I listened to extensivly in recent days and helped him adjust his system.'s hit by a Power Acoustik db3000 I think it ' is what it is, anyway its rating of 2300 watts @ 1 ohm. 4.1ft ^ 3 secondary @ 29 Hz
SQ: wow. sounds really nice in my opinion. MAG had been pretty, but much nicer. it could be the cause of my entourage had already torn up and under couldnt play potential, but who knows. Xxx on SQ is nice as all hell.
SPL: Holy! this thing is crazy! no joke. I never heard one as get stronger. we were on a light and my friend was pushing hard enough. There was a car next to us and the window was broken, so they had a plastic window. I move on with the plastic and low of my friends XXX. I think this car was a good 10ft away and the movement of plastic. We turn down ... plastic cap. A under high. I know their just a light bump on it, but he does not care. Anyway, that shows you just how much power the sub creates inside the vehicle. I gave my mag a 9 out of 10, but this one take the cake. SPL 10/10
Woofer Nice good price. Do not miss it if you have the opportunity to buy ALL.

Ok a little late, but it's been about 2 months since ive had and I feel I can look safely. I have these speakers with my Alpine running on my sig. its 80x2 at 4 ohms.
the sound quality when speakers are turned halfway in the ski 20/35 is nice. very clear and just a good overall sound. I like it. The problem comes when fed more power to them. of 26/35, they start to sound bad. the song sounds unpleasant. that make your mouth turn in strange directions and only raise eyebrows in disgust. Now I know what some people think, most HU distortion when it comes to higher voume what your profit should be set properly so that it will make it so high distortion. and 20 and 26 of 35 for volume, the gain was set at a minimum near the alpine zone. when you turn the gain to where it should be the speakers distort at about 15/35. sound very bad and not even gettin his power RMS. I checked the elimination, turnouts, crossing points, and all these good things. even with the HPF set at 160 Hz from the speakers distort.
I really do not think these speakers are worth the $ 300 MSRP. IMO, skip the speakers and go with something else. im going to go with RE components, and ill try to examine them in relation to the CDT.

Review : Digital Designs DD 9515e
This last year I was in search of a Handel Hardcore SPL sub that could force everyday driving without seeming absolute … to do.
I found a very good deal on a NIB 9915th (talk dry) and decided I could do the job very well. Before that time, I bought a pair of 1600m1 better audio quality. So instead of buying an amp to match a driver because I did reluctantly, but with satisfactory results.
The test conditions. DD 1 9515 D2 collision 1600m1 to 1 ohm. Box is equipped with two independent 16-foot room ^ 3 box. Since the time only its own DD I used a single chamber for testing. Hotswap is transferred to the box. Port used for the test was tuned to 27Hz, and is the port of my daily driving. SPL gate was not ready yet the test of time. But I'm going to change this situation, as it is.
All specifications can be found in ddaudio.com DD9515 so I'm not the size of my time to show them. But if you have never seen this as you know it's huge. The magnet is very large and has a very solid base to support it. The driver weighs 46 pounds.
For listening tests I used the track 14 of bassmechanics Download and Ying Yang Twins - Say Ay yi yi.
I used a gain setting 3 / 4 in the amplifier, simply because I get tired enough power and no symptoms of cuts ... always resolves with time given RTA. This operation specification to 1550 amps @ 1ohm but I have a good feeling just gets a bit more 0out.
In the test.
The opening of the song is a bit high bassmechanics and sub sounded a little muddy, but honestly sounded about as good as any is in 8ft ^ 3 tuned so low. So deep bass rolls came, and I soon found myself jumping on the remote bass knob and start down. IT has been incredibly high for such a conservative amount of power. Finally I turned back and gain some volume. The submarine was powerful and very little distortion could be observed at normal listening levels. Then it was time to try it with music of real life. I throw the Ying Yang simply because it has a nice clean deep bass stock. Crank It Up I really and almost immediately my ears start ringing. On the track it was pretty responces, but of course a built in SPL. I heard a submarine much cleaner, but nothing this high. I have worked on systems for some time but had never attended a single sub, which was so strong, and I installed the products of this caliber more than a few times.
This is a great driver, and can be found a very good price. I put high on my list of recommended drivers. Computers can be one day or triggered as a machine at full speed SPL. People have 20kW to belch on this submarine, and it is crazy enough for a sub with 1500W RMS

Infinity Kappa 5.25 component speaker
the execution of a HIFONICS zx6400d them, giving them 85 watts RMS, which is the speaker ..
the sound is very gentle and thorough
Treble is not too bright (I had the MX (Alpine cda9813) feature off right now, but when you start, it gets brighter - the better half).
mid-bass is wild for the price paid ~ 130
RMS, I do not think 85 watts seems to be in the range of 50 watts, (I have lower profits on GPA), I got up earlier, and ended up having acute enter and exit sounds very bad!
Overall, I think they are worth money to someone who wants to take a step above average, and two step lower than the best, since they are 4 stages in total ( fair, good, master of the above).
In general, the high is what I like, good midbass is a dollar ... These are marked as B

15" Subwoofer HC Product Review

The first song I played for my sub, was the second traces of Spacemen CD. He hit hard. I've never experienced anything like this before. The only thing I could do was drop my jaw. It was really surprising that this "thing" was built to produce such sounds. As I stood there in complete ecstasy sounds created by it, I finally realized that people come to four stations could hear and feel the sub. Although it's not even cranked half volume, and half to win, this beast roars and claimed its territory.
After the song ended, I asked some people what they thought.

Orion H2 12.2 And 1200D
I want to start by saying that this is one of the most powerful subwoofer that I have ever worked with. In addition to getting excellent reviews in Car Audio magazine, and many other writers, I personally give a +. The woofer SPL and SQ with a wedding are perfect. I used a box of 1.25 1 "thick MDF enclosure, the port tuned to 33 HTZ. Not only hit 148.2 in the trunk of the new Accord AC-in microphone, but it sounds sweet. I'm going to compare it with the only 12W7 because it seems to be a part of most people are familiar.
Ease of installation is about the same. With W7, you have to roll around, which can be a pain, but gets easier the more you work with them. H2 has several vis other submarines to be pre-drilled exactly, but it also becomes easier with experience.
Sq I would say that the W7 is probably my favorite sub when it comes to SQ, but the H2 is a very close second. Higher frequencies are hit harder with H2 as the W7 and the lower end, but I think the whole size spectrum of SQ is a bit 'clearer than the W7, but again, not much.
SPL. Destroys the W7. Much higher power handling Dual Gap geometry. Sensitivity of the H2 is higher than W7, which I know does not mean much, so I changed from a box carton W7 H2, and the difference was about 3.4 T lower than W7.
It was a trial run for me to see if I wanted to do 15H2, and it seems that I want. Again and again I had the system up in my car, but since it's my daily driver, I would always upset when I tried to listen to normal music. H2 is high, remains high, and responds well to all types of music. The prices are good too. 12H2 sells for the 599, as opposed to 749 for W7.
H2 I would recommend to anyone who has the money to afford it. There are other sub, which are cheaper, you can play the same ball park, but the total package I've never been impressed.
