Phoenix Gold Octane ZR 6.5" component set

I'm looking for a couple of months, which is still the least expensive component of a good quality set. several queries to this led me to these components

So I took the plunge. etronics.com had an offer paypal free shipping, so I ended up getting all compelte for $ 49.99 including postage. incredible. it is less expensive than most mid-level coaxial.

Box:

everything was full and orderly way. include a large amount of wiring, all mounting hardware tweeter (surface, angle of rotation), tweeters, woofers and crossovers.

Initial impressions:

everything seems to be typical building codes Golden Phoenix. no defects at all heavy, "solid" feel the woofers and crossovers. woofers terminal tabs are just a piece of cardboard nailed. a little creepy, but pretty typical of cheaper speakers. Quality can certainly improve it.

install:

I took my door panels, install the crossover in the delivery system and ran wires. I cut a 3 / 4 "woofer rings from some of the extraordinary government is playing at home in my 6.5" coaxial half were "too small. Bass are very excessive, and 6.5". I tried a couple different tweeter mounting positions, but I ended up mounting the OEM engineer panel grills only one or two-inch subwoofer. in all, it took about 3 hours total, including cutting a new bass sounds.

Audio:

I 60rms on each, they are designed to 75rms. even after the change and mitigation of acute 3 dB, I was very happy. initial sound was a bit tight, but after a week of playing an hour a day, the big sound. I always preferred the silk tweeters, and these are no exception. smooth top that are clear and precise. Mid-bass surprisingly, even a door slightly muted and not sealed. I expect that some aluminum foil is cut and sealed on all doors will really give them some good punch.

RL-p I like the SQ, it gives, but it lacks indoor heated output volume and pressure, I remember, I had sealed and there was a total lack of production, so that it became much better after I have worn.

Kicker S15L7 I would say that it is difficult to win 220 seats. The output is amazing, even if the SQ does not fall behind the RL-p, L7 is a job box, kicker recommends, it will be hard and low.

All subs are going for around $ 200-250, but I have T2 for 90, RL-p for 220ish for GB, L7 for less than 220.

Soundsplinter RL-p 12"

Out of the box, I was quite impressed with the construction of these subwoofers. RL-I 8 Review

Hertz ESK 165 S

 I've had these speakers in my car for a week now. It consists of SR-165 S 6.5in speakers and HT 18 tweeter. Let me tell you, I never heard anything so clear in my life. In my favorite songs, I hear something in them that I never heard of them before. Even when I had my game Alpine model. But with a few songs from Eminem, who I think it looks like crap. But neither then, these speakers are sweet. The mid-bass is OK until you 25/35 for volume and shine really well. Performance at high volume execlenct * I can not specify *. Dayton Sub-120 12"

Dual 10 inch subs

I drive a 1986 Mazda RX-7.

Memphis 15-PR124D

But SQ is not the best of them, kill them in SQ SE. SPL for the low things are awesome, I'm in W6, W3, or Kicker L5, Comp, CompVR. Everything I'm stronger.

New Stereo Integrity Mag D2

MA Audio 120XE

These are the next big budgets. Good, clean and low receiving strong enough. They really love the bass, the lower down, more of these submarines are. I sent a couple of my door for € 129 from etronics.com. A friend of mine has 2 JL Audio 12 years (not sure of the model), and crush them BUT on your system - and paid well over twice what I did to him a couple of divers. The only complaint I have, who are forced to leave their crappy 760 W Pioneer amp that I absolutely hate. I'm probably not Hifonics BX1000D today. I'll update this post once I get connected.

I had two of these submarines, the other day, I run them on a sound stream VGA 800.2 caraudio amps with 400rms go to each of 2ohms. They have the healthiest I've ever heard. They hit very low in the 12 and can hit up to 10 east. The only drawback is that they have an insane amount of power, but to listen at high volume while going to work for a journey of 30 minutes in the chest hurts. They look really good, very different from any other sub I've seen and built with quality engineering degree.

new lanzar heritage dvc12

I do not think I've seen some comments on them, so I'll write one. After much time spent reading and studying many different woofers I just choose them. The decision that I was a small price motavated, but 139.00 for the pair on ebay I went for it. they are measured at 2000 max 1000rms I think it is slightly overvalued so I hung on a zeus7500. 2ohms they get to about 500 wats a song. They are in a box tapped increased to about 32Hz. 98corolla a while with the rear axle carried by the decision of the rear speakers. I am still in shock at how these woofers hit, even at 500 watts. I think they need to 1000, probably not, but I belive 600-750 would be sweet. I had 3 12 "kicker comps VR last year in a sealed box in a tri Sentra 2001. With rear seats folded in the car hit a trigger mtx81000d really nice, but the two Lanzar believe it or not hit more pure and stronger. These Imo worth every penny they are extremely deep and pure bang the hell out of my car.

JL Audio XR650-CSi Review

Ok, I'm on a holiday to see here, so I might as well not to stop. I was just going with the CDT Boner going here and get some CDT components where eBay started calling my name. I finally take this component out of eBay in good condition, $ 140 shipped. I had to wait a while to get this installed for lack of wiring accessories. When I finally got the install, I thought, "Holy ****.... these sounds terrible." Well, I spent all day wiring the place and I finished around 8:30 or so at night, which contributed to the disaster, the lines of the mine. Me being lazy SOB, I decided it would be allowed to simply extend the wiring of shares. So I went ahead and extended the white and gray son and unfortunately after testing, I finally found where I went wrong. My HU has really said to tell you the truth, with an average cracking sound and smoke.

Therefore, in the dark, I accidentally had spread the son of the HU instead of the speakers, the worst mistake I've done wiring ... but who needs an amplifier in your inner HU anyway?

So, after the time to install properly, and mess with the crossover, I really got to listen to them. **** I must say that sound good. My image is an entire piece of shit, thanks to the tweeter mounting disgusting, but they are things that still sounds good. Midbass might be a bit 'better, but I'm not really complaining. I've seen some crazy offers on eBay up down like the JL XR component ready to go. If you can find some of these for a decent price, by all means go! SQ: wow. sounds really nice in my opinion. MAG had been pretty, but much nicer. it could be the cause of my entourage had already torn up and under couldnt play potential, but who knows. Xxx on SQ is nice as all hell.

SPL: Holy! this thing is crazy! no joke. I never heard one as get stronger. we were on a light and my friend was pushing hard enough. There was a car next to us and the window was broken, so they had a plastic window. I move on with the plastic and low of my friends XXX. I think this car was a good 10ft away and the movement of plastic. We turn down ... plastic cap. A under high. I know their just a light bump on it, but he does not care. Anyway, that shows you just how much power the sub creates inside the vehicle. I gave my mag a 9 out of 10, but this one take the cake. SPL 10/10

Cdt Cl-61a

Ok a little late, but it's been about 2 months since ive had and I feel I can look safely. I have these speakers with my Alpine running on my sig. its 80x2 at 4 ohms.
the sound quality when speakers are turned halfway in the ski 20/35 is nice. very clear and just a good overall sound. I like it. The problem comes when fed more power to them. of 26/35, they start to sound bad. the song sounds unpleasant. that make your mouth turn in strange directions and only raise eyebrows in disgust. Now I know what some people think, most HU distortion when it comes to higher voume what your profit should be set properly so that it will make it so high distortion. and 20 and 26 of 35 for volume, the gain was set at a minimum near the alpine zone. when you turn the gain to where it should be the speakers distort at about 15/35. sound very bad and not even gettin his power RMS. I checked the elimination, turnouts, crossing points, and all these good things. even with the HPF set at 160 Hz from the speakers distort.
I really do not think these speakers are worth the $ 300 MSRP. IMO, skip the speakers and go with something else. im going to go with RE components, and ill try to examine them in relation to the CDT.

Infinity Kappa Perfect 12VQ
