For those of you who have been pioneers tsw304DVC some tips on the design forum if space is not a problem.
First of all, the fence is the factory recommended waaaaay small and under 3 "round hole tuned 40htz creates a lot of annoying noise relief at all frequencies less than 40 completed HTZ.
Now, new information ....
I currently use CAD (Computer Aided Design) to formulate and calculate the caraudio speakers and the subwoofer output.
Pioneer model requires these parameters tsw304DVC ..
trading volume of 3.5 cubic feet
wait tuning between 30 to 33 HTZ
No fiberglass filler.
These met the requirements to get a free air sub-3dB at 33 Rollof HTZ and self-3dB Rollof 15 HTZ, which means true bass and subsonic frequencies too.
One performs in an incredible 105 DTR production with acoustic output SPL at 95 dbl. It's a lot for a 12 "with a sub Xmax of only 8.3mm, and only 300W RMS.
Sub faithfully reproduces all the music is slow rap and dancehall, and R & B. The bass is great
The patented VCCS (cooling coil) is also what should ... which is to remove heat from the coil, which is kept cool and play more.
So once u have the space and the size of the caraudio speakers is not a problem with these specifications for maximum performance of your TSW304DVC. I know because I have one and these are my specs. My friends can not believe that this caraudio speaker playing in the back of my car!
By the way the sub was blown JBL Power 1000W, JL 12w3 and the new Pioneer TSW305 & TSW306 both precision sound and overall production.
TS-W304DVC is probably one of the pioneers better designed and manufactured marine never lived up to its name, it just needs the right caraudio speaker
